What song/s make you cry (and why)?

I'm a cheerful little soul today

Playing on the radio this morning as I was getting ready was one of the songs that make me fill up, so I thought of the other songs that make me shed a tear (and why)

They are:

Hey there Delilah - Plain White Tees. We lost our little cat Delilah last August and it just gets to me like you wouldn't believe.

Mr Brightside - Killers (odd one really, until you know the reason). Was playing on the radio last year when we took our old dog Archie to the vets for the final time. Then again 10 days later when we had to take the cat - she couldn't bear to be without her best friend smt022

Who Wants to Live Forever - Freddie Mercury/Queen. So very moving (can't listen to it at all)

Anyway, what about you guys? (I promise I'll come up with something cheerful next time!

Mandy by Barry Manilow! He wrote it about his dog I believe and once you know that and listen tot he words it's quite sad!
Fields of Gold by whomever (sting preferably) as they used this for Cancer Research and both my parents died of Cancer.
There are others but can't remember who they're by lol!

That one is easy:

"To where you are" - Josh Groban
- its the song I sang at my mother's funeral.

"I knew I loved you" - Savage Garden
-its my song with my ex wife, and the one we had our first dance to at our wedding.

"My Immortal" - Evanesence
also reminds me of my ex wife

"I miss you" - Jem
- reminds me of both my ex wife and my mum
