...Now for your favourite original music albums

as we've had books and movies, i thought i would start a thread for your fave original albums.

they cant be compilations, various artist, or greatest hits.

have to be original music...live albums are acceptable as some artists make new versions of their old songs, and some live concerts are original music that isnt recorded any other way ....Jazz springs to mind here.

DJ mix/remix albums can count too, as some of these are works of art in their own right, transcending the original source material...

both of the above criteria would count "covers albums" (but not as compilations).

i went thru my hundreds today, and whittled it down to 30 - so shall we call that the ceiling? it seems a lot, but believe me, 30 is hard! but you can do less, if you like
