Jackson, DOB 2013/4, Male, Staffie x.
Jackson Staffie DOB 2013/4 Chessington Kenns
Jackson needs a stable family to provide him with a foundation to develop his confidence and skills further within and outside of his home. Jackson is unassessed around children but is not leapy or mouthy, unless hyped in play, as with any dog. Jackson may well be able to live alongside a cat or another accepting dog. NB Our Rescue asks owners to maintain dogs on lead in public spaces and manage encounters, as dog law changes place dog's lives at greater risk.
Known background: Found stray and unclaimed. He came into the pound a frightened boy. Jackson has gained a lot of confidence since. We offered him his Rescue place in February. Jackson is now neutered, chipped and fully vaccinated. Jackson is in boarding kennels near Chessington.
About Jackson: To meet Jackson is to fall in love. He has a reserved nature but soon builds trust and enjoys companionship. Calm in the home with housetraining and discipline clearly there. He will want to join you on the sofa. Jackson walks well with other dogs and is non reactive to challenge (to a point of course). We do believe Jackson will manage being left as he seems quite settled in his own company, though obviously initially coming into a new home he will want to be close. Travels well in a car.
Jackson is possibly a 3 year old Boxer x Staffie, though he is more Staffie size. Jackson has a very settled energy and is versatile by nature. We are looking for a family who are all about him and his needs. Be sure..Jackson with treasure a family who treasure him..he just needs that opportunity.
