Thanks so do I. So far the Rimadyl have made no difference at all.
I just let her out for a wee and she hobbled out and a bird flew overhead so she rushed off chasing and barking and then yelped.
She is her own worst enemy.

Oh no, Mo would be devastated if she couldn't chase birds

Does the Rimadyl take a while to build up in the system? I don't know anything about it but I hope Shady gets some relief soon.

I'm sure last time I used it the effect was pretty quick but won't swear on it. I just seem to remember her being fine after starting it so she didn't even have pain to stop and make her think when she was doing silly things.
Bit like us taking Paracetamol for a headache I think.
If anything she seems worse on the leg.

You gave it with food didn't you Bev??? I remember giving Zena her's when I got back from the vet at around 12.30 with her lunch, and I didn't notice any difference until the evening after her afternoon nap, so give it time! I expect she's worse by dashing outside and leaping in the air like that! Mind you, she wasn't initially probably when she DID run outside, it was probably only after that leap in the air. If you have to, then put her on a lead to take her outside if she's going to act the fool like that! Good luck

I rushed off and fed her straight away after your last post . It didn't say with food on the bottle, which is why I never bothered.
Thanks for putting me right.

Lol! I know they just eat them anyways, but I've had about 4 different vets now always telling me to make sure they are taken WITH food, probably coz of stomach upsets that's all though, so don't worry unnecessarily! Google them and you'll see I'm right!
