Poorly Springer Spaniel

My friend's one year old Springer Spaniel was terribly sick this morning. It was dark green in colour and seemed quite greasy(!!) He seems to be back to his normal self now but my friend has heard somewhere that dark green sick could indicate a problem - should she be worried?

Sounds like bile. Can be green in colour if they've had nothing to eat. Stave her today if she seems ok. If not...go to the vets.
