Not bothered, they like to go to the window or sit outside & watch.

Thanks for all your comments. I not sure how Bailey will react this time but hewill hopefully be a wee bit more used to the loud noise as he was young when he heard them for the first time.

bruno hates them - terrified !

we just turn the music up loud to drown them out - easier said than done when morons let them off in the daylight when we are out walkign though - this happened last year and bruno literally dragged me home - shaking like a leaf.

i hate them for this reason and wish they were banned expect organised displays

I'll have to wait and see. I got Missy in January so have not seen how she reacts. We live in a quiet village though, and a nearby hotel often has fireworks for whatever the guests are celebrating. Missy is ok with that and thunder but not sure yet about bonfire night.

last year ben just turned over and went back to sleep. it has to be right outside the window for him to take any notice. hes so laid back. now the cats will go into hiding, ill put them in the hall with all the doors shut so they cant hear much.

Don't know yet She's perfect with the thunder and lightning now, but I really regret not having started a desensitisation programme with her earlier for the fireworks. We haven't had any go off near us yet, and hopefully it won't be as bad here as the last place we lived. We'll move her crate back into the dining room for the night (double glazed and heavily curtained, with 3 internal walls) and make sure she's got a big bone to distract her.
