Any ideas

I was looking at the differences between my stafford and my m8's and I noticed that his stafford walks with his back arched all the time.

Anyone know why cos I've never seen another stafford do it

Lel the only way I can describe it is like when they are stretching and they arch their backs, well that what he looks like all the time

He seems healthy enough

..are you talking about a 'roached back' Staffy? this is a 'fault' in some dogs and excluded by the breed standard in many breeds. If the dog has always had it that is probably what it is, if it happened recently think illness, as Kazz says kidney or can also be tummy problem.

..in my book 'Spirers This is The Mini Schnauzer' it illustrates the faults that are penalised in my breed. The 'topline should be straight but declining slightly from the withers' and in the illustration it shows a 'fault' roached back as what I would best described as a bit like a whippet..as far as I know no health prob..if the dog has always had it ,but it is passed on so you would not want to breed from a roached back dog
