Cesar Milan Book recommendation

I fancy getting one of CM's books for Christmas, but don't know which one to choose.

Can you give recommendations please.

Thanks.

I have both Moobli.

From memory: I would say that the first one (The Dog Whisperer) is more theoretical and about his 'philosophy' on dog behaviour and rehabilitation. The second one 'Be the pack leader' or something like that is more about how you put his philosophy into practice, so it is more practical and actually tells you how to do some of the things he talks about in the first book. I think the second book also has an abreviated version of the theory in the first book, with the added practical advice/tips, and so is probably the better stand alone book.

Before everyone jumps on me, I have the books out of interest in different training methods, which does not mean I agree with all or most of what CM says.

I also have several books on dog training methods, and I have the 2nd book from Cesar. I have so far found it interesting, not to say that I would use many, if any of his methods but I do like to stay on top of these things, and be in the know, cos' I am nosy!

If you're only getting one then I think book 2 is the one to go for, as it doesn't do his life story etc.

I read the first book when we first got our dogs. I found it quite useful in getting to know how they think but its not a hugely practical book. By the sounds of it you are probably better off with the second one. I want the second one now too!
