My dippy brain is finally getting it

Just had to update on Tess. She hasn't been the easiest of dogs to train, as I have already stated.

But she is making me proud (even if she has taken time ) finally she can go out on the drive....without charging off up or down the road
I can now open the front door and she stays well back if told to 'wait'
And her recall has come on in leaps and bounds now I say 'come' and she does
She's stopped all barking at strange dogs, totally ignoring them now
She's stopped barking at Asain women with thier head/face cover on
and today she made me real proud when we were coming away from the park, she headed for the exit which is very close to a main road, I called NO....CLOSE...... and she turned and came right back to heel

So she is getting there

Aww thanks, but she has to take credit, its been difficult at times for her, but she is a trier

Its so nice not to have a manic lunging dog anymore, especially when faced with strange dogs or woman with heads covered. Taken a long time, but she's finally rewarding

Wow well done both of you. Tess has been a right giggle and I'm sure it won't be the end of the Tess laugh a lot series

It's lovely to know she is coming on so well though
