Then make yourself clear. I can see you are struggling a bit here, would some photographs help you of deformed fronts on working dogs? I mean in comparison to show dogs, that may help with the comparison.

No proof then----its easy to get it on medical matters. Hence that there IS proof of how skin problems and eye problems and breathing problems arise in several KC pedigree breeds.

No thanks---but if you'fd like to post them thats fine by me.

You still don't KNOW what causes arthritis in any given dog.

I have a dog who OUGHT to have it due to an appalling structure but doesn't appear to have it. I have had and know many other dogs who have had it or not had it.

Shall I post photos and you can tell me from looking at them which dogs had it and which didn't?

Here are some examples of bowed legs in working bred springers. It doesnt take a world class geneticist to realise they are deformed, and deformities cause problems, especially when that animal is expected to work all day.

The bowing of the legs often gets worse with age, which may tie in with your theory of rushing round, however if they had straight legs to begin with...........

One more point Lynn, the reason that many do not see the lasting problems of this type of thing, is that many pass on their dogs once they have no use for them. You know I am 110% PRO working dogs, absolutely, but its perhaps one thing we agree on, in, not moving them on once they are of no use. It stands to reason that many working people do not see the end result of their bad breeding practices, as once the dogs are of no use, they pass them on into "retirement" homes. I do see this "end result" as I board a few like it.

Ill catch up in a while, I feel a bacon sandwich coming on...
