Those were my old ones, you've must've picked them up at Oxfam. I had to get new ones, which caused quite a stir when I asked for a service wash at the local launderette. Bob the manager hadn't laughed so much for years....




Which was a bit disappointing as I had asked for them to be pressed. When I queried why this hadn't been done all they said was the pressing machine they use for large items was on strike....

Went to the gp for a the follow up appointment today. He has signed me off for another week.
I am still not sleeping very well so he has given me some sleeping tablets to take for a couple of days only to see how it works. He said if I feel I can go back next week to ring the office and I can but that it will be on my conditions, ie not so much work.

Last night I went to bed at 12 o'clock, at 1pm I put something on with a timer and then the OH came up to bed and pinched the remote! He said I was alseep and would never have watched the end.I told him it finished at 2.10am and if I was awake then I would batter him, but I was asleep.

Today the sun is shining and I think I'm going to do a bit of weeding. OH has mowed the lawn and is out on his bike.
He saw a bit of this thread and now whenever anything happens he says 'I suppose you are going to tell them that now!'

Actually he said 'You haven't told them about when I wondered why my boxers were tight, til I realised I'd been wearing Charlie's all day?. Course I wouldn't tell you lot that!
