Had the fire lit most of the day today, as soon as I'd sorted the girls out and got my brekkie on the go I lit it, and its been so cosy and lovely. Usually don't light it till late afternoon as the house stays pretty warm once its been lit a few days.

1vutedog, sorry to hear about your brother....i too like the humanist service, my nans was a full catholic affair but she was great mates with the priest and she gave him strict instructions no long winded boring service
TW, i put the heating on earlier and it is nice and toasty here...not like a real fire though

Just taken Sammy out for his last toilet break. My goodness you wouldn't want to stand still for 2 minutes you'd end up a lump of ice. So glad I don't have to pee outside hahahaha
