Hello Jenny, I have every sympathy for your second clear up in the kitchen but it was all in a very good cause and how lovely to have a surprise visit from your son.

Talking of walking dogs in the rain, does anyone else have a dog that is virtually impossible to dry? I can towel Jimmi until I am exhausted and he STILL feels thoroughly damp, and remains so for hours - we have to put the heating on so that he can lie by a radiator and not get chilled. Our last dog, a collie x, only needed a brisk rub (just as well, she was all for taking my hands off) and would fluff up all dry.

Yes Sally. Taff is impossible to dry Even putting the hairdryer on him (under protest) he still takes hours to get dry. Wether its with him having a double coat or not I don't know

Hey SALLY
I find Lacey is easy enough to dry,so funny, has to be done immediately!! Strange that you would think with Jimmi having a shorter coat,he'd dry quicker
Just been having a look at that guy Ring's weather predictions for the summer...very interesting

Lynne, I thought that Taff would be easy to dry but it seems that he is like Jimmi. Is it grease do you think

Flash only has to shake himself and he's almost dry (TT's have a double coat) but Rucksack will remain sodden for hours. That's when I'll put Rucksack's Equafleece on which stops him getting chilled and wicks the water away. They are brilliant.

OK Lacey what is the weather prediction for the summer I heard a week ago that before the end of this month we'd be having a two week heat wave with temperatures up in the mid-80s ..... but its rained every since I heard that

Isn.t that odd Jenny, two dogs of the same make with totally different coats when it comes to water. Do you put Rucksack's fleece on after you get back then? I might try that with Jimmi
