I have just had a call from the vet, the blood results are back at last.
All is normal, no signs of infection. The white cell count is low but this is quite normal for a Greyhound/cross.
Today she has been eating for England after eating almost nothing for 3 weeks, so I hope what ever it was has now passed.
The vet did say maybe she had a low grade infection that she managed to fight off herself or it was a hormonal thing.
Hopefully we will never know cos I don't want it to happen again.
