Mmmm all this talk of cakes but where's mine??
Especially on my birthday and thanks for the good wishes folks. Actually, I'd forgotten as been drugged up with painkillers and antibiotics from the dentist after another visit so rather peeved that I'm eating soft stuff and can't tackle a juicy steak.
Sorry to hear about Billy Griff. I trust all is ok over at Lacey's.
Hope that the rain has subsided for everyone, that no-one is lost on the moors, cakes and dogs have avoided soggy bottoms and the Father Christmas doesn't go down Lynn's chimney, it looks so cosy and inviting.

Ah Brenda - the old "Bach" remedies - how efficacious, where you don't actually take any medicine just listen to some quality Baroque Music circa 1700 AD. There is indeed something about the works of Johann Sebastian that inspires although I'm not sure it cures. Naturally though I wish you all the best with your easy listening! LOL !

Just googled it...ooooo yummy!!!
Mandy, i would have had some chips and onion rings ta.
I cook a pack of asda Moroccan cous cous, break up either bread or pitta and mix that into the cooked cous cous and tip that over a bowl of salad, give it a good mix and eat...lovely

Griff, sorry to read abut Billy, my condolences to your family.

Lynn I love your fireplace, I haven't had a house with a fireplace for years and even when I did it was nothing like that.

Pretty cold and rainy up here so normal weather for us Poor Sammy was left for 3 1/2 hours today, longest I've ever left him, he was so glad to see me when I got back. Was at my brothers funeral, he was only 62. I'm more used to going to funerals for the over 80's which never seem so bad. Great service, I like these humanist/celebrant funerals much better than the 'holy holy' types we used to go through when young lol our family were catholics.

How come LG made fatoush sound like a rude word
