This is such a lovely positive programme (even if I do end up in tears each time!), and Paul is perfect for it. A true dog lover, he injects such genuine warmth and interest into his presenting.

I hope and expect that this series will bring rescue homes to the fore, and that more people will look for their next dog in one of them.

I am glad it dwells more on the upbeat side rather than doom and gloom which I think may encourage viewers to think of rescues in a different light.
