Jeager belonged to a friend of mine. We have known him for years and he has been a friend to all my rescue hounds. Playing with them, refereeing if things got too rough and protecting them if he thought there was a threat. My youngest liked nothing better than to put his head into Jeagers mouth for a gentle chewing and even my very nervous old boy would play with him.
He was a gorgeous dog and it's going to be a long time before we get used to not seeing him in his usual haunts.
Run free Jeager, you will be very much missed.
