The vet has said that he has mild Carpul Varus. She doesn't seem overly concerned and says we can X-Ray him when we castrate him at 9 months if we wish to. She said plenty of working springers have it and are absolutely fine, no way of ever knowing for sure until we see him limping, swelling or in obvious discomfort.
Other than that she said the only thing we need to do is be gentle with him. She thought 2 lots of 40 minutes was OK, but we've now brought that down to two lots of 20 minutes instead, including training in the park (sit, lie, leave it etc) just to be sure and based on the advice given here.
So I would say he doesn't have a "problem" with his legs. He has a condition that may or may become a problem.
