Karen, my last dog ate something highly toxic (poison we think) one, and she was vomiting up blood, diarrhea, then blood both ends, she was almostg at death's door when we took her to the vet (had to wait all bladdy night after having seen a vet already at 3.30 in the morning, coz the surgery was closed!!!) Anyway, 5 days on a drip, the vet ringing me every morning telling me my dog should be dead, sedated, massive massive amounts of ab's and she bounced back 5 days later. So hang on in there, I can't stress enough how these vets of ours can pull our babies out of the worst, so hang on in there, have hope and stay positive, just like you are, and I hope you managed to get a bit of sleep.
