I too can feel your pain as I lost my ten year old boy just a month ago. What a lovely life he must have led with you and you paid him the final and greatest kindness you could by ending his suffering and giving him peace. RIP Jeager.

I lost my Great Dane the same way - I don't think I will ever get over it, and it was years ago.... it's the worst thing ever....
