It's because there's so little spare flesh there. Closer to the bone is always so much more painful. The fleshy parts, e.g. tops of your arms, are much less painful

aww thank you i like the spider one as well turned out just right cant wait for me next one having my three boys on my back just waiting for the template print to come back and its all systems go

I have always been too much of a coward to have one done. On pay day we can dress casually at work and some of the young girls have beautiful celtic knots and the like on their upper arms which you can see when they come in wearing t-shirts.
