Thankyou all we can do is give her time to slowly hopefully come out of it. Its still early days.
Claire I don't know I wasn't really listening for an accent, you hear so many these days I don't really register that, I was too intent trying to take in what shewas saying and asking.. Her name is Clare Hogston. She seems to know a lot about greyhounds but then she works with Bill Steele the vet who specialises in greyhounds and orthopedics. Bill is only there 2 days a week now, but Clare seems just as clued up as he is and can always call on him for greyhound info anyway.
Might you know her then?

So sorry to hear Lily is still unwell, Bev. Absolutely shocking, by the sounds of things, that your vet didn't take it seriously enough. Terrible. You're doing the right thing in making a formal complaint.

Lily today. She has made it onto the chair where she feels safest but just stares with empty eyes into space. I can't get a wagging tail and she seems scared when I take her into the garden. She has lost so much weight so quickly and when she stands up all her bones are showing. On the plus side she has eate 2 small meals of chicken and rice and I will give her another one later and she is not panting or dribbling everywhere.
I have posted a couple of vidoes in video section showing how she was the first time the vet sent her home to me saying she was now completely fine and back to normal.

Poor girl she does look very 'out of it' and confused What an awful time for the pair of you to go through, I can't believe a vet sent her home in that condition. Hope she is feeling better soon.

I am crossing my fingers she improves during the evening and is better tomorrow when you take her back to the vet.
