Oh I really am so very sorry to hear this about Cherry, I really am.
As others have said, better a week too early than a day too late. I think you're being very brave and are doing the right thing for Cherry.
I would let Parker see and sniff her body after she has gone, he may be able to sense/smell/understand that she is gone if you do that. Just what I would do if it was me.
So very sorry again, you really have done so much for Cherry that I'm actually sat here in tears for you just thinking about you all.
One of mine is 10 and a half and it really is not that old at all in smaller dogs. I'm just looking at Roxy now, too.
