well he made it through the night- thats the most i know at the minute as he is being assessed by the vets at the moment. At some point he needs transferring to another vet as he is in as emergency at pdsa. They did mention something about him needing surgery again but i wont know until the vet phones me in the next half hr or so.

Aw just read this thread and I am so sorry to hear about the bloat. I do hope that he will pull thru' it all. He has so far, so that is something positive. The PDSA are terrific and I do hope that all will be good for him and you get even better news later today.

Healing Vibes going to him with hugs as well and a big hug to you. It must be awful for you and for your Mum as well.

Take care.

Rose and Loki.

just heard from the vets- hes being taken back in for surgery- suspected peritonitis or similar. Hes in an immense amount of pain and has a really high heart rate.
Vet said hes hoping hes just a wimp(i told him he doesnt deal with pain well!!) but realistically its likely to be bad and warned me to expect a call while hes on the table so he isnt put through any more pain and woken up

and i cant get hold of my mum to tell her

I'm so sorry this has happened, fingers crossed for a full recovery, unfortunately this is the 3rd bloat I have heard of in the last 7 days?
