So very, very sorry to here about your pup. How awful for you.

Please take comfort in knowing we are all with you sending hugs and tons of support. Your little one waits for you over Rainbow Bridge with all of our beloveds that have gone before.

I do hope you find a reason for what happened. It may help, in those 'what ifs ......' moments that haunt us.
God Bless xxx

Hi guys thank you for you kind words, Just an update on the results i got from the autopsy.

The results came back that cause of death was aspiration pneumonia. The poor mite had inhaled some of the food which caused his lungs to fill with fluid resulting in his death.

So now what? do i contact the company who makes the food to let them know?

Many Thanks

How brave of you to come back with an update after such tragic circumstances I'm not sure where you should/can take this now, but just to say I hope your pain has eased a little x

So very sorry to hear of your sorrow, where to go next, well think you should tell the breeder who will want to know, and if you were feeding as per the instructions on the foods container then I think you should speak the manufactures as puppy food should be suitable for puppies this was not suitable for purpose.

May be seek the help of the CAB or what ever it is called now. I know nothing can replace your lost puppy but you are, it would seem due some compensation for your loss and distress.

I would also question your vets bill £1000 seems about 75% over the top.

Thanks for coming back with the autopsy results. I would let the food company know. It doesn't sound as if it was anything but a tragic accident, but still if there is a record of it & it ever happened to another dog the details would be there. If I were the breeder I would be grateful to know as well.
