I lost my grandad at 3 and a half, and to be honest i don't remember much about him. The sad thing is that the one bit of him i do remember is him dying I did grow up with my Nan (his wife who we lost last november) and my nan and grandad from my dads side, and of course all the happy memories and funny stories they told me about my grandad, but somehow its just not the same
As Rhiannon grows older she will begin to smile at the times she did have with her grandma polly and the memories she has from them. its just such a sad thing
