Because they are the only types of people i have ever met with a stud in their noses. I have yet to meet someone who isn't a secret gothic or secret tracksuit lover who has their nose pierced. Have you?

We are entitled to judge people by first impressions, that what makes us human.... I judge a lot of people by first impressions, and yeah, sometimes i get it wrong, but its my right to be able to do that.

Yes. Lots of people!
A lady I work with, in her late 40's has a tiny little stud in her nose.
She's certainly not a goth or chav etc!

So what do you 'class' me as? Commoner? Goth? Punk? Normal?
I have 3 tattoos - 1 covers half my back.
I have multiple ear piercings - stretched, top/bottom lip pierced, had both eyebrows pierced, and other multiple body piercings.

I don't 'dress' like most people do - with the music I listen to.
I wear 'normal' jeans, vest tops, cardigan etc.
I don't drink or smoke, at all. never have done. I am t-total.

As long as the tats aren't offensive it shouldn't make a difference though. I know it does because of how people perceive others ... but we don't feel that way when we see pop stars etc. on tv with tats or piercings, do we?

I know a guy with 'Made in England' on his forehead - that would put me off because it is a racist thing.
