It's the horse racing capital of the UK and home to the 'Jockey Club' one of the wealthiest sporting clubs in the world. The town is nothing special but all around are huge racing stables, palaces would be a better word stud farms and numerous middle eastern owners mansions with helipads and rows of luxory cars parked outside.

Well our village fireworks night is tomorrow on the field next to the village green. It's less than a mile away but I'm hopeful that we won't get too many loud bangs. Casey was OK last year, just need to see how Lara takes them.

Our bangs have stopped now. Apparently its illegal to let off fireworks after a certain time at night, apart from Bonfire Night, New Years Eve and Diwali!!!
Must get girls brekkies done and get to bed. I am basking in the heat here, compared to last night when I was curled up under a throw dreaming of tonight However its making me want to go to sleep, so I must make a move.
I would ask these people who are moving in Harvey, and if they have some stable mats in the offing they may let you have either the offcuts, or get you a piece when they get theirs delivered.
