Griff, don't worry, Savers still stocking them, Home Bargains didn't have any last week, Asda not stocking them at all. Keep meaning to check out another, larger Asda, but everyday there is something I get waylaid by
LG, so sorry to hear the Mem has been taken over by some sort of religious fervour, maybe ensuring she is no longer excited by ceramic objects of a religious persuasion, i.e. those that mark All Hallows Eve would help perhaps

Heaven forfend - I am accused of not being romantic, failure to comfort my beloved in her hour of need and hinted at "darker deeds".
All Hallows Eve is regularly celebrated in this neck of the woods - you can see the bonfires twinkling away on 31st October. They are always way out on the moor (religious observation is best undisturbed) people dance round the bonfire frequently "sky clad" as they term it!!!!! So much more fun than sitting in the family pew in a draughty chapel! Or er! So I'm told!!!
Griff - where's your birthday bash then - surely we are all invited! We all promise to be on very best behaviour! Honest!

Trouble with the painkillers you are only allowed 2 boxes, thats fine if I have all 3 shops stocking them, but now I'm down to one. Seems to be a lot of stuff just not available recently. I find germolene is great for insect bites, but none to be found anywhere, as one tube lasts me ages I of course never realised till I wanted a new tube
Maybe chain them to a concrete block or something Eileen, there could be a thriving black market in them, and they could be gone in the morning, driven away by complete strangers who don't have their welfare at heart at all

Ah now there's a good hint as to the birthday catering - obviously Griff's mum is going to make a giant shepherd's pie with all that mash!
The Mem is in a funny mood - she just shot past the study door and hurled in the comment "They could well be the antiques of tomorrow" then she gave a sort of demented chuckle and disappeared off into the deeper recesses of the house.

Oh no,sound's like the Mem is sinking into a depressive state. She has a good point about them being Antiques of the future.Funny, the guy who sold them to me said they were priceless, couldn't keep them on the shelf
