the fact the dogs love you not matter what, their needs are simple and they are always there trying to make you happy.

But in answer to your question Azz I thought the words from a song by George and Ira Gershwin suited well They can't take that away from me.

The way you wear your lead,
The way you lap your tea,
The memory of that -
No, no! They can't take that away from me!

The way your tail just wags,
The way you howl off key,
The way you haunt my dreams -
No, no! They can't that away from me!

We may never, never meet again
On that bumpy road to love,
Still I'll always, always keep
The mem'ry of ...

The way you follow my bike,
The way you run round the tree.
The way you change my life -
No, no! They can't take that away from me!
No! They can't take that away from me!

These are the real words

The way you wear your hat,
The way you sip your tea,
The memory of that -
No, no! They can't take that away from me!

The way your smile just beams,
The way you sing off key,
The way you haunt my dreams -
No, no! They can't that away from me!

We may never, never meet again
On that bumpy road to love,
Still I'll always, always keep
The mem'ry of ...

The way you hold your knife,
The way we danced 'til three.
The way you change my life -
No, no! They can't take that away from me!
No! They can't take that away from me!

the things you all say about your dogs is so sweet and i agree with every last word but the best thing for me is cleaning the slobber off everything before i go to bed and the knowing it will be all there again in the morning and especially on me when they greet me to say i love you now wheres brekkie

I had a lot of sadness in my life and I guess I still do. When Jake came along he taught me how to laugh again and not take life quite so seriously. I'd put Jake first and foremost before most humans I know. If anyone even looks at him the wrong way God help them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
