I hope she had an OK night.

She will feel better soon I am sure - it would just be nice to be able to explain it to them.

((Hugs))

I hope she`s feeling a bit better today. Some dogs really feel sick when given anaesthetics.
Don`t be shy about getting back to the vet for more pain relief btw.

Ah I feel for you both I hope she is feeling a little less disorientated today and settles down for you.

I know how a basset can milk a situation and make you worry twice as much as you need to they are clever little souls and use them eyes to wrap you around their trotters, mine has me on all the time usually lots of cuddles are enough to take their mind of things. Or a nice pigs ear lol.

hope she is feeling better soon

Thankyou for all your good wishes!

Piglet did have me worried last night, all my other dogs have been ok after surgery so her being how she was did concern me.
She went extremely cold (absolutely no heat from her to the touch) and was shaking uncontrollably last night, so i spoke to tupac who gave me some great advice

I had the heating on full whack all night (me and the other dogs felt like sleeping outside!!!) and she wore a tshirt to keep away from the stitches (she wont wear her vet collar) and i got up every few ours to check on her and offer water (before bed she had a drink and then puked all over my sofa ) so didnt want her to throw up and end up laying in the wet when she was so cold (she was crated)

Im glad to report that this morning her temp was normal and she even ate a tiny amount (i was depserate for her to eat something so she could have a painkiller- have to be given with food )
Finally this evening she ate almost a full meal the weight has just dropped off her and can see every rib so now for the feeding up!!
