We read William Horwood's follow-on series to the "Wind in the Willows". They were very good but I don't like books where all the animals die at the end of the story as Ratty, Mole, Badger and Toad did! They are iconic creations-no right to kill them off!!

I also enjoyed Rescue Me by Melissa Wareham, she worked at Battersea Dogs Home and when she talked about her own dog, I was in tears....
