Sorry for the delay in replying but on the way back with Shady I had a phonecall to say my dad had another big bleed, so I had to drop Shady off home and rush to the hospital.
Thankyou for all your messages and thoughts though.
Anyway Shadys bloods were ok, just her blood count rather high, which could mean she is dehydrated, so vet gave me some stuff to mix in her water and I have to syringe little bits into her as she is not really drinking..
The x-rays showed no blockages and her tummy was completely empty just full of gas. So she had a Zantac injection to help sooth her tummy.
I have just managed to get her to eat a tiny amount of chicken and rice and she has just had a little bit of the squits in the garden, although not really anything inside her to come out.
Poor girl still looks very uncomfortable but vet said to keep a close eye on her and if she any worse in the morning to give them a ring or take her back.
At least I can rest now knowing its not a blockage which is what I feared as she wasn't pooping. Seems like it may just be a horrible bug, so I just need to make sure she doesn't become anymore dehydrated.

Pleased that it doesn't appear to be anything serious with Shady. Hope she's feeling better soon. xx

Glad to hear that there are no blockages. That is going to be a big relief. I hope Shady is back to herself soon and feeling better.

Also really sorry to hear your dad is unwell Bev. I hope he improves soon too.
