hubby is a blood donor they wont accept it from me because of my weight.

i was a donor and gave my blood regulary i have a rare blood groop and it is accepted by every different groups but now not allowed to

its the rh negatives that rare?
mark is a rh pos both my sister and mum are a rh neg but i'm o pos like my dad.
they say 50 kg and im not 50 kg so wont take it from me.

I would love to be a blood donor, but unfortunately because I'm insulin Dependant diabetic they won't let me I always knew I was too sweet

I'm not sure about the weight. How do they get them? Here goes, its like a normal donation but the blood is spun to remove the plasma and platelets.The blood is then returned to you.It takes about a hour,it's painless just like giving blood and you get a cut fo tea and chocie bickies when you wont them
