Actually Stewart I'm not sure....

I live in a pretty big house but I would think that the stairs could do a lot of damage to a dane's joints?

With my little Archie it's easy to carry him up and down the stairs, but I am about 5'3 or less, so I can't imagine carrying a dane up and down the stairs

Uhm, I know of people who have great danes living in apartments.. We meet one on our way to training on sundays..

And it isnt huge apartments..
