Thanx everyone. Ah well an agonizing wait for me then to persuade hubby to get KC reg dog and then to actually find a good breeder, this could take a while so no getting your hopes up for puppy pics anytime soon okay

Once again thanx guys for helping me and I appreciated all of your comments and we've all managed to stay friends. I knew there were some civilized people on this planet and now I've found them you were all hiding in here

I didn't post on the initial subjest, but I must say Good on you, for taking the advice given!!!

Now about talking hubby round...... when I wanted a Flatcoat, I told hubs I wanted a Dane, I prattled on about it for weeks (as only I can)
Needless to say when I 'suddenly' decided that a flattie was the dog for me, he was so relieved he agreed immediatley

libs I'm still laffin' glad it worked. I think i'll give it a try and see if I can't get the kids to join in aswell, me a 5year old and a 3 year old we should be able to do something between us. I'd have to use a small dog eg Yorkie or something a OH loves bigger brreds.
