I used to enjoy watching the Eurovision song contest with friends and was a real laugh. I used to like to listen to music from the variety of countries entered.

I think the song this year is horrible and don't like the artist either. I wouldn't be suprised if we had 0 points. Taken the diversity of our culture, could have chosen a much better entry.

Anyway, might be suprised.

I actually sat and watched it, for the first time ever...mainly because I was on IRC and discussing it.
Glad that Lemmy from Motorhead won
I liked the dancing Shakira wannabe soldier lass in the short skirt, and not *only* because of the short skirt. She had a good voice, enthusiasm and tallent.
And I adored the *We are the winners*. The irony if only they had won, having to fork out to host next year's event.
And Terry's commentary was wonderful
I may even watch it next year

Finland rock! Didn't think Terry's commentary was that good this year - maybe he didn't get enough alcohol to see him through and the poor man kept complaining about being hungry!
