Poor girly, but its for the best. Now you try not to worry (silly thing to say really knowing what us doting mummys are like) and get some rest so you can lavish all your love and attention on her when she comes home.

Sorry have only just seen this thread hope India is ok Lise

just spoken to my vet again he is very good at keeping in touch and is very supportive
India is quite poorly at the moment he said she has lost a lot of blood and tissue and it was far from the routine we all expected he has had to stitch her as best he could considring so much removal its not looking very good but assures me the tail feathers will cover it when they regrow
