I know this won't make me very popular, but I am a smoker and I have no intention of giving up. May as well be honest .

I know I could quit physically, that's not the problem.

I don't crave ciggies. It is just the habit side I need to sort out. Going to the pub

Maybe I should stop going to the pub?

Not a chance!

Same here

I gave up for 15 years.
I had my last ciggy just before I got married, and then didn't smoke for the 15 years I was married...I take promises seriously.
However, when the Decree Absolute hit the doormat I was half way through my second packet of 20 before the echo stopped....

I quit 2 years ago after 30 years of heavy smoking & the thing I like best is not having to plan my other activities around that one, ie "is smoking permitted & do I have enough to see me through?"

Not at all, it is your life and your decision so providing you do not inflict it on anyone else you are at liberty to smoke till the end if that is your wish.

Smoking in social situations with other smokers.

If I am out with someone who doesn't smoke, I won't smoke as a general rule
