Louie first started to lick the walls at 10 weeks - the wooden bit at the side of my OH's bed...he does it from time to time - but never for long and it's never really been an issue I think it's a sleepy thing - he also humps the covers, collapses, and chews the covers til he sleeps - I think again it's a sleepy ritual, but he hasn't done it for a while.

Sadie licks me constantly when I'm upset - Louie likes to do it too - tears - they love them!

Benjie isn't a licky dog.
