Thanks everyone.

I saw Dean as planned, and my poor old Duchess has a kidney infection.

Dean gave her two injections, one of which was a steroid, and she has three tablets to take over the next three days - the name of which escapes me now.

At least it's reasonably easily sorted. She has to go back on Monday just to be checked.

Gave me a heck of a fright, I can tell you!

Thanks for your good wishes, everyone, I'm sure she'll be right as rain in no time.

Oh Vicki I'm so sorry I missed this with poor old Roxy yesterday, but it seems something that can be treated easily. I've got everything crossed that she's fit and well again no no time. Poor little Roxy, she's going through the mill lately isn't she. Big gentle hugs for her from us.xxxxx Poor Roxy You must have been scared stiff too.xxxxx

So glad you got to see Dean rather than one of the other vets and that it is something that is relatively easily treated.

Fingers crossed she'll soon be on the mend.

Hoping the meds work quickly for her at least it wasn't too awful which I know you were worried about. Same as me having experienced a horrible illness with a dog before you think everything is something to worry about.

Aw Vicky so sorry to hear about Roxy - hope the injections and tablets will clear it all up. Must have been a nasty shock for you.

Big hugs from me and doggy licks from Loki.

Take care and I do hope all goes well over the weekend and the visit on Monday to the vet will see her get the all clear.
