Just a though but are your dogs insured ?? If they are does your insurance cover emergency kenneling ??
That way you no they will be safe and you can get some where to go for a couple of days to sort something else out ?

1. You need to speak to people who can help you.
I suggest a solicitor for a start so you know your rights.
Personally I would plonk myself back in the house and suggest she goes home to mother till it`s resolved, but you`re not me. Think about it though - it is the best option atm.

2. She is being a bully and making unreasonable demands. You sound quite vulnerable so you need help. Try social services and your local council, your church, your doctor - anyone who can point you towards a solution or stopgap.

3. Here are a few people in your area who might suggest a way forward:

Homeless Shelter:
Derek Player, St. Martins Housing Trust
35, Bishopgate,NORWICH NR1 4AA
Tel: (01603) 667706
derek.player@stmartinshousing.org.uk

Night Shelter, Highwater House
Westwick St, Norwich, Norfolk NR2 4SZ

Since you sound (understandably) depressed I would also consider a call to these people?

Homeless with Mental Health Problems Team (Norwich) (Norfolk and Waveney Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust) [NHS Mental Health]
Contact: Peter Conley Senior Social Work Practitioner
Diana MacLeod Senior Mental Health Practitioner
Telephone: 01603-421303
Telephone 2: 01603-421289
Fax: 01603-421912

They might ask you to get a referral from your GP.

For the dogs - the best place is their home but if you can`t guarantee she will care for them you could maybe arrange a temporary shelter?

Very useful advice from Claire!

Finding somewhere at short notice with two dogs will be extremely difficult. Don't you have any family members that could put you up for a week, just to give you a few days to look for somewhere.

You need to talk to your partner. She needs to let you stay for a few nights if no one else can help.

Find out your legal rights!

I dont think the council/homeless department will help you. Well they don't help single men down here! All very wrong.

I am very worried about you and just wish there was something I could do to help. X
