As far as I am aware these dogs are really just old, not neglected, I have seen them before each year there is an ugliest dog compeition, not unlike scrufts and more often than not the breed that comes in at the top is a CC, it must just be that this breed looks particularly ugly as they get older?

Elwood was born that way - the breeder thought he was "too ugly" to sell, and he ended up in a really bad situation, though he was rescued.

Isn't love a funny thing ? When I looked at those pictures I just thought if they were mine I would love them just as much as any very handsome dog.

Poor sods! I'd need a couple of paper bags to take those uglies out!!! Call me shallow but I prefer a cute fluffy dog to a minging old gremlin any day!!!

Sam does seem to have the monopoly on dew claws! Mind you my pup has double dew claws on her hind legs. Never seen that before.
