Thanx fudgeley, heyup mishka vicki's on her way, mishkas much happier now huni. we are taking in a urine sample tonight so vet can check the PH instead of next week.


Back from vets with mishka , PH better , less white cells , little protein. But result is a bit better, she has lost a little weight in past 5 days on more food !!

It must be so worrying for you, hope it is something simple that can be sorted with meds.

Hopefully this is the start of the recovery process, and your precious girl (she's mine, really, you know... ) will be back to normal in no time.

update on mishka, she was put back on her dry chappie food as vet wanted to see if she was ok to get back to her normal diet but we took her to vets last sunday & crystals are in her urine again , alkaline urine vet said . ph up too . Little blood in it. . she is licking herself alot too. put on CDdiet again & another sample of urine to be checked in 2 weeks time. If ph has not gone down then vet says it would be best to go into mishkas vulva to see whats going on inside her.

I have no advise but hope it all works out for you, poor little girl.

Mishka had her urine checked again today , vet says she now has Bilirubin (spelling) crystals in her urine!!!!! He is going to call the Hills food company to see which food may be best instead of the cd diet as he dosen't think the cd is possibly helping as much as they thought. when he has looked at her urine more & what its showing him he will possibly get a blood sample from mishka to check she hasn't got the Bellirubin crystals in that too as it could possible be something to do with the Gallbladder !! this just seems to go on & on at present.
