thats brill, i always used to answer my parents phone with,MEEK RESIDENCE, who do you wish to speak to, and if it was somebody we didnt want to speak to id say we wernt in and that i couldnt take a message as i was only paid to answer the phones

i was fed with cold callers, so i signed up with that org that stops it.(cant think of the name at the mo) but it dont stop JWs from coming on the doorstep !!!! pain they are, wanting to save me, clear off i dont want saving im too busy having fun LOL

Oh these are excellent, I only wish I had the wit & intelligence to think these sorts of things up!!!!

I used to work for a large insurance company (for my sins!!) in there in bound call centre and used to get the other side of things from people.

We once got called by someone who claimed they were dead!!! When questioned about how they were able to call us, we were told that there is a hot line 'up stairs'
