easy to wipe away muddy prints, slobber and food

they don't seem to absorb odors - and are easy to clean and condition with saddle soap (cheaper than some specialist cleaners)

also unlike fabric sofas they seem to improve with age

good choice

Karen, my leather sofas are great, so easy to take care of and still look like new after two and a half years. However, my mums leather sofas, that are about the same age haven't worn as well and Olive's claw marks are really noticable. My mum's sofas were about 4 times as expensive as mine!. If you are going to buy one run your nail along it to see if it marks.

Lel, Mine and my mums are dark brown . My sofa is matt Buffalo Hide and my mums a shiny cow hide (i think). The shiny one definately marks quite bad.

XXXX

PS. Just read that over, my MUM is not a shiny cow hide, just the sofa

We have a cream leather 3 piece suite and 5 cockers (and 4 children) it's great any dirt can be wiped off with a damp cloth, it hasn't marked or scratched, it's great.......took me a long time to decided if I really wanted leather, but I certainly don't regret buying

We took out a 5 year warranty with ours, but it doesn't cover for CURRY spillage.....lol.

Lel I'm also planning on a dark brown leather sofa for my new house, I'm leaning towards the old distressed look ones, cos thats what it will look like pretty soon, at least I'll be able to say it's supposed to look like that.
