Fred, I know you say this isn't a virus, but it tells me it is according to the techie websites???? It's Dc1.exe???? Why isn't it a virus then???

these all need fixing, so in hijack this select this entries and click fix it or whatever ti says.lol

Warning: While the scan is in progress, DO NOT open any folders or the Windows Control Panel !! because then the scan will not work properly when it might use the files

Well thanks to all your help, I've managed to get rid of it at last! I'm home alone today, had things planned to do, but instead of that I've been stuck on here all day fixing this problem!
