That is so sad. But also so happy that you found him And then so sad agin. It must have been heartbreaking to lose him after so much. Sounds like you did an amazing thing

what a sad beginning but such a happy ending.Nice to know that when he became ill,he had such caring people to see him through,and that he had a happy 4 years.

A very sad beginning with a happy ending, because of the 4 happy years you gave him, he will of forgotton the bad start, you gave him trust again which is not always easy.
