Unless im mistaken i think all breeds can suffer from it, but obviosly large deep chested breeds are at the most risk.

The labs always have an hour to rest before going out after their breakfast.
Scrumpman always has time to settle aswell, he always lets out a big burp after his dinner, so i know hes alright!

Ditto Gems.

I am always happy to hear a big belch from the dogs during/after meals. Sounds disgusting but I like to know the air is out

I was always told that it is best to work a dog out before they have their meal, worknig the dog hard and then waiting an hour after the exercise. If it isn't possible to do so then to wait an hour or more if possible after the meal like Gems said. It should be added that as well as water being a culprit for this its dangerous to give your dog water after a hard workout/exercise it is best to wait and give a small amount of tepid water when their system has calmed down.

I would have no problems there with Cassy as soon as she has eaten she lets rip, she is forever belching and (well you know the other) very rude but yes a good sign
