Hey guys

It ws my birthday today and I have been very spoiled

for once I didn't have to get up at 06:00 to put the pup out, Mustards Dad did and then we spent the morning making our new chickens home secure with electric fencing. They were my birthday present and I was sooo chuffed.

We then headed for the pub, just to socialise the pup you understand, had a couple of glasses of wine and then headed off for a late lunch. erm after that I curled up with the pup on the futon in the kitchen and woke up 2 hours later

Mustards dad for once didn't mind people checking out the pup rather than drooling over his Lambo but we had a bit of a blast around the countryside and then fish and chips and a bottle of champers at home.

Altogether a fantastic day

I have been painting, I am in the middle of doing a painting of my cavalier that I had to have put to sleep last yaer. It is taking me forever as I am working in oil paints and it is taking forever to dry. Other than that the usual stuff, walk the dogs, cut the grass and pulled up some weeds. I hate gardening.

How familiar is THAT!

I spent most of last week trying to share a single bunk on the van with two spotty lumps, gave up in the end and slept in the overcab bed not as nice though without my friends

Had a fairly lazy day for (Im usually running around like a mad woman - I find it quite hard to sit down and relax )

Hoovered the house
Took hubby to the emergency docs - he has gout in his foot
Mowed the lawn in the back garden (first ttme in my life I've mowed a lawn lol)
Chilled out a bit more
Filled the kids paddling pool
watched a movie
hubby and I took the dogs down to the river where Murphy came across a group of polish people having a picnic, grabbed one of their sandwiches and then ran into the river - hubby and Jesse had a splash around in the river too (hubby said it was soothing for his foot )

cooked Fajitas for dinner and then chilled out again for the evening
